Things to Consider When Shopping for a Refrigerator
A used refrigerator offers obvious cost-saving advantages over the purchase of a new model; however, whether you are shopping for a refurbished refrigerator, there are a few things you should consider before finalizing the purchase.
Size and Placement – The first step is to measure the dimensions of the space where you plan to locate your refrigerator to ensure that the model you’ve chosen will fit. You don’t want to purchase a refrigerator that is too tall or too wide to fit the available space, or one that is too narrow and leaves gaps.
Is It Airtight? – It is very important to ensure that the refurbished refrigerator you buy is sealed effectively. A door that is leaking air will not cool the interior efficiently and will cost more to run. A poor seal is an indication of the presence of a bad gasket around the perimeter of the door or hinges. A quick and easy way to determine if a seal is damaged is to close a sheet of paper in the door and then try to remove it with the door closed; if you feel little or no resistance, the seal is probably leaking.
Door Direction – The majority of refrigerators manufactured today are equipped with doors that can be affixed on either side of the appliance; however, some older models do not offer this option. Make sure the refurbished refrigerator you choose opens in the correct direction to fit the design of your kitchen before making the purchase. If you find a refrigerator that you like but it opens in the wrong direction, ask one of our technicians to check and see if the door can be reversed.

Very happy with the convenience and quality of service
I have bought two used stacking washer/dryers from Eric's, both reasonably priced. I have also had them make house calls for repairs; again, very happy with the convenience and quality of service. The last unit was delivered, it was not the unit I saw at their store or agreed to buy,. It was a better unit, larger and newer, for the same price. This type of switch is fine with me.
